With over 24 years at CMS Group—including service as a Director of CMS Architects Ltd—Paul Rogers embodies deep institutional knowledge and architectural excellence . As a RIBA-certified architect, he leads the design and delivery of a diverse range of public and private sector projects, from educational campuses to sustainable community developments. His passionate commitment to sustainability is evident in his work on energy-efficient schemes like Corsham Primary School, where his expertise in passive design, clay-block construction, and low-carbon principles has delivered exceptional learning environments that continue to perform well in use .
Beyond technical skill, Paul is highly regarded for his leadership and mentorship. He frequently represents CMS at industry events, engaging with academic, professional, and apprenticeship communities to promote architectural education and collaborative practice . Under his direction, CMS Architects has built a culture of thoughtful design—where creativity, functionality, and community value converge. As a Director, Paul champions integrated design processes, ensuring every project benefits from architectural insight and conscientious stewardship throughout its lifecycle.
Peter Blake has dedicated over 30 years to CMS Group, beginning his career in 1994 as a trainee architectural technician and rising through the ranks to become Group MD of CMS Architects Ltd and CMS Project Managers & Surveyors Ltd . As a dual-qualified professional—holding MCIOB and AssocRICS credentials—Peter expertly oversees both the architectural and project management facets of the business, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on specification, and on budget.
Beyond project delivery, Peter is passionate about professional development and industry collaboration. He actively participates in educational and networking initiatives—speaking at regional events such as Cotswold Networking—and regularly represents CMS Group at forums like the Bath College Construction Focus Group . His hands-on leadership style and deep-rooted commitment to the firm have shaped CMS’s integrated approach, fostering teams that excel in coordinating architecture, surveying, and project management to deliver high-value results.
